The XERF system offers the world’s first multifrequency monopolar RF treatment. What is XERF, and what makes it different from other RF skin tightening treatments?

XERF is the world’s first multifrequency monopolar radiofrequency device. While most RF treatments deliver a single frequency at one depth, XERF combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz frequencies in the same handpiece — penetrating three skin layers (shallow, middle, deep) in one session. It also uses Integrated Cryogen Delivery for surface cooling and Accurate Impedance Feedback to adapt energy to your skin in real time. The combination is designed for structural skin tightening — not just surface improvement.

Spacing between the two initial treatments is determined by Alivia, our Certified Medical Aesthetician, under Dr. Iso’s clinical oversight, based on your skin’s response — typically four to twelve weeks apart. Your written treatment plan will be specific to your skin assessment.

Many patients notice an immediate tightening effect from collagen contraction during and right after the session. The structural change — new collagen remodeling — builds gradually over eight to twelve weeks. Results typically last six to twelve months, which is why maintenance every six months is recommended to keep the structural collagen scaffolding remodeling continuously rather than starting from baseline each time.

None to minimal. Most patients return to their regular day immediately. Some experience mild redness or warmth that resolves within a few hours. There are no needles, no broken skin, and no recovery period the way there is with microneedling RF or surgery.
